Right by the station, I found Salisbury, Queens Head and Kings Head almost interchangeable - maybe Queens felt a bit more pubby. A little further afield: Orange Tree (very much a neighbourhood spot) and Little Green Dragon micropub which is excellent if you're up for that sort of thing
