Every night, the village is under attack by mysterious dark forces. As a newly appointed bailiff, you have to build shrines to protect the inhabitants of the village. The problem is that shrines require significant funds to be built, so you must collect taxes every day. And people do not like taxes.

I've spent the last 10 days completely reworking interaction system in Poof! Cleaning Services.
My goal was to eliminate the tech debt from the prototyping stage and introduce some cool new features, such as context placement, which you can see in the GIF.

Recently, I've started playing three games at the same time:
Disco Elysium (2nd playthrough), The Case of Andrew D. (first time playing this type of weird detective game) and Yes, Your Grace (suprisingly I had never played it before).
I wonder which one is going to win out for my free time :)

Our previous game, Heading Out, had 9k wishlists in March 2024, which got us to #1879 on the top wishlists chart. Later, 17k wishlists brought us up to #1342.

Poof! Cleaning Services currently has 15k wishlists, but we're only at #2232.

Wishlist inflation? :)

I'm prototyping a board game in my free time, and I'm glad I found nanDECK - a pretty neat tool for generating decks of cards using spreadsheet data.

Today was the first time in my programming career that gen AI helped me with code. I was stuck with some quaternion multiplications and had no idea how to perform certain calculations to get "world space"-y results. The chat suggested pre-multiplying and it finally worked!
