After several weeks of unavailability, the Bambu Lab warehouse in the EU has finally got some PLA Basic starter sets back in stock.
So I ordered one, since it is a big saving (€40) over the regular price of 4 spools.

Used Onshape to design a phone holder to fit over the stem of my bicycle handlebars, and a camera mount for the front luggage rack. They have done the job since I've bought the bike 21 months ago and survived for nearly 6000 kms by now.

I used to eat a LOT of cheese, ( the local dairy farm is only a 10 minute bicycle ride) but had to reduce due to problems with the liver.
Still, living on the French border makes it very tempting to pop over and grab some fromage...

This is a nice example of "steady on" : after nearly 20 years (started in 2006) my YouTube channel just got it's 1000th subscriber. Yay!

Right, that's done with shopping "for this year".

I've stocked enough food and drink, so that I won't have enter any shop before 2026.

Got a nice bonus gift from SuperU🇫🇷 too!

9 y.o. me started photography in 1965, using 120 orthochromatic film that I could develop in the bathroom, with (faint) red light.
For decades, the only way to create "effects" was to use coloured filters; but it was always guessing what the result would be.

The problems with designing models at scale 1:87 are plenty, and even a "good" FDM-printer with a standard 0.4 mm nozzle will struggle to reproduce the minuscule details that seem obvious while working on it in the CAD-program. (Onshape)

Managed 14 years and 155000 km (96 KMiles) on a 1997 Honda Civic that I bought in 2009 with 22000 km on the clock.
Had to change the timing belt and tyres twice, plus a few bulbs and the windscreen washer pump. No other costs, whatsoever.
avg 6.74 L/100 km or 42 MPG (UK)
