I can never forget 62 years ago today. JFK had made me proud to be an American, especially when he stood up to the Soviets and made them remove their missile bases from Cuba. Also stood up to his military advisors and likely prevented a nuclear holocaust. A deep loss to us all 11/22/63

Four Years Ago today, as part of an extension to a Viking cruise, we got to see Highclere Castle and some other locations used in the filming of Downton Abbey. Not allowed to take photos inside, but it was awesome. This was part of our 50th Anniversary year celebration 😊

Four Years Ago today, as part of an extension to a Viking cruise, we got to see Highclere Castle and some other locations used in the filming of Downton Abbey. Not allowed to take photos inside, but it was awesome. This was part of our 50th Anniversary year celebration 😊

As Nazism and Fascism were on the rise in Germany, Italy, and the US, 100 years ago this month Pope Pius XI declared a new Feast Day - “Christ The King Day” - for the worldwide church. The point being to remind us that Jesus is above all earthly rulers and powers. Seems timely to re-emphasize today

Watching “Death By Lightning” on Netflix. On the one hand it is horrifying to see how corrupt and wicked our political system was 150 years ago. On the other hand, it’s enlightening to realize how little any of it has changed. If anything, it’s WAY worse today.

Our sweet little church has a monthly collection for, and delivery to, LCCM (Lebanon County Christian Ministries) which runs a food pantry, a clothing shop, and various other necessities like toiletries, all free for our local needy. This month our delivery was over 800 lbs of food, and $1700
