This is an exciting event!! The Spurr Volcano is only 3400m away from the epicentre with a M5.8 earthquake, and the depth under epicentre was 0.0km which means the magma is literally right under the surface. The Alaska Volcano Observatory has upgraded Spurr from a Level 1 to a Level 2 UNREST status.
