The bomb cyclone took out the main cottonwood trees in the heronry(nesting area for Great Blue Herons) at Marymoor park in Redmond last week. I’d guess there were ~25 nests in the 2 trees that fell. It’ll be interesting to see if they build back up around these remaining nests or move entirely.
