what tipped me off is that the game has one of the more well-known monster designs in horror games of the past several years and it looks like they adapted that design pretty closely in the movie, but then the poster just looks nothing like either

will happily delete this reply if it's incorrect, but I'm guessing it's the poster for the movie adaptation of The Mortuary Assistant. looks real rough, + didn't even get the design of the most iconic creep in the game right, it's pretty eyebrow raising

then when she released the music video for her song Tears and the title card in the video was bright red allcaps for a split second when I saw that title card but hadn't heard the song I thought she did a cover of the HEALTH song from Max Payne 3

when I first heard of her I assumed her name was a stage name and thought "Sabrina like the witch, Carpenter like John Carpenter, obviously she does like a gothed out darksynth version of pop music." incredibly wrong there
