My thoughts on censorship, proshipping, etc.

I try to stay nonpolitical on my accounts but I am not in the mood for a rerun of the 1980s.
Go read Fahrenheit 451, 1984, and Brave New World and you'll understand where I'm coming from. Also, no coincidence that some of these books are banned. :)

I've been neglecting to post anything that isn't OC related for a while, so let me make my stance clear.
I don't care about the feelings of pixels. The 1980s censorship wars (aka satanic panic) granted parents the ability to decide what media was safe for consumption and still refuse to use it.
I have no love for individuals who cannot regulate their online experiences or parents who refuse to use the parent advisory labels appropriately. People aren't interested in protecting children, if they were, they'd remember that under-13-year-olds aren't legally allowed on most websites.
So instead of holding parents accountable for giving their children access to harmful websites and apps, we once again turn to the artists and punish them.
We punish them for creating porn in spaces not meant for children, explicit material that has all the tags and safeguards, etc.
You can say "oh they're a proshipper" or whatever at me, but you're a part of the censorship problem if you do. If you want to regulate what people create, You. Are. Apart. Of. The. Problem.
Regulate your feeds, call card companies and senators, and tell them to back the fuck up
