I find that having an email alert for every single transaction that happens helps me a lot with managing my spending. It also helps monitor for potential fraud and things you forgot you purchased/subscribed to.

Some locations I've been to have a plain pancake bun, and serve the sandwich with a syrup container for you to add the sweet. However, most I've had already have the syrup baked in, and it's just too much sometimes.
