I don't want to add to your problems, but it looks like it's working in reverse too. I just sent my partner a private message and now they think I want to spend the evening doing taxes and cleaning the bathroom with them, it's awful!

Oh heck yeah. As an adult I tried playing a "canon" run of Yellow using only Red's famous team, so beating Brock with just Pikachu was insanely difficult.

It's around the price of one real, actual Pokémon. Also, surely by including all three they will alienate most Pokémon trainers in one way or another! I do not want a Lego set of the game enemy that made me cry in the 90s :p
