Disclaimer: If you like them, that's cool, I am not dunking on you. I am just giving my two cents. I will not argue here about my opinion.

I'll still roll one (it's a quirk I have to make one of every race and class), and see where their lore goes, but I am almost certain there's nothing they can do to make me think "Yes ok, they were necessary to the story, world lore, and assets team, glad they're here."

So much time and assets to a race, completely pulled out of nowhere, when a focal race that has been around nearly since the beginning, has nothing. It just feels... bad man. I can't help but feel a little bitter. It just feels like pandering to "oh new shiny!" than anything to me.

I think a lot of their options are cool, but why not just give them to others and have more customization across the board? We are coming home to the Blood Elves' homeland, and the men still only have one (1) tab of customization options and can't separate a mustache from a beard.

I've tried not to post my thoughts too much on these guys, cause I don't want The Mobs™ to come after me, but I feel like they're so needless. What are they going to be that Night Elves or Trolls couldn't have been? They're even labeled "TribalElf" in the data, so we know they're Night Elf related.

I think the idea behind the armor was Amani, but there is certainly a bit to be desired from that idea.

Ok but real talk, the dwarf housing area has to be the huge spot in between Stormwind and Ironforge since it connects Dun Morogh, Loch Modan and Searing Gorge, adding the ability to house all three clans so we can get some Dwarvesn spots later on. I just think it'd be perfect.

Is there a chance in the future, that we will get Amani/Forest Trolls as a playable option? Aside from the previously mentioned hairstyles for Darkspear? #MidnightQandA

I was thinking the same thing too.

Luckily someday we'll get this recolor where the green and gold does match, but who knows how long that'll be.

The belts, the mask, the hips-out baggy flowing pants? It's peak. It's so 90s fantasy, Zelda-esque.

Some misinformation about the new Amani model is that only the female is using the Orc skeleton. The male on the other hand, is def still using the Darkspear skeleton as you can see in it's animations. So that weird pug nose was a deliberate (bad) choice making them look more like Orcs needlessly.

Like Forest Trolls were the first Trolls to join the OG Horde. Revantusk being a tribe, that also joined the player's Horde. Now is the time they become playable.

Also please give me Alpha access because I need to report feedback that the Forest Troll model needs a nose and the female needs a head rework.

Also also that they should be playable, even if through Darkspear as an option.

If wow was real smart, they would have made the new Forest Troll model have the same texture mapping as the Darkspear so then they could interchange the skins for vibes. Would be fun to have beefy "dire"/Berserker Darkspear as an option, or lanky Amani for older shaman types for body diversity.
