When I watched it (knowing nothing about the book series) at the end of the first episode i looked at my roommate and said "this was written by a straight woman".

I enjoyed the show but it very clear these stories aren't for us. They never have been and never will be.

Mine is to pick up a new hobby this summer. I'm kind of between arial hooping, flamenco, or historical European martial arts.
