For the most part, Dal is proud of his body. He thinks he's sexy as hell. He does the work to keep himself in shape, even though his job doesn't call for it, because he likes the way it makes him feel.

Dal believes in Lolth & her dogma. He believes in consequences. He believes fear & pain are effective teaching tools. It's all he's known & if he were to stop believing now, he'd have to confront the 200 years of fear & cruelty he went through & believed to be right.
