4/X Liquid cooling is ideal for your processor and nice for your GPU but the latter can be skipped if the case has good air flow. Newegg has tools to buy compatible hardware if you want to build it yourself (or have a friend do it). Otherwise iBuyPower has served me well over the years.

3/X nvme is great for harddrives, you'll want at least one for the OS and some games. Otherwise HDDs and SSD work great for storage, and are much cheaper than nvme. Get a backup service, I use backblaze for unlimited data @ $5/month, great to protect your art.

2/X ram prices are absurd right now, so plan on using the same ram from your current machine. As for motherboard I have never cared about manufacturer other than if it supports the processor. However, thunderbolt 5 ports (USBC format) and at least wifi-6 is big for supporting newest standards.

1/X I recommend going with AMD for both CPU and GPU, they have excellent performance and quality for much better prices than Intel and Nvidia currently. I highly recommend the Hyte Y60 case, it's big but it's beautiful and very easy to access the machine. Plus you can put figures in it lol

2/2 The AMD 7900 XTX has 24gb of vram on Newegg for the same price as a 16gb 4070ti Super. Most modern cards have enough cores to do everything, so your vram is your bottleneck for high memory usage apps like artist programs.

If you want a whole new PC I have recommendations for that too.

If you're looking to only upgrade your GPU, swapping to AMD is something to consider. Nvidia 4070ti Super is a great card, likely to last a half decade or more. Equivalent AMD cards are almost half the price for the same amount of vram. Nvidia prices are going up due to shortages. 1/2

For the record I put together my new board, put on all my safety gear, and then immediately crashed into a tree hard. Thankfully Helmet-senpai kept me safe :3

For me tho - understanding how groups form helps me make better choices about when and with whom I spend my time trying to build connections.

Not every storm should be
weathered.

But once the rain clears and healthy norming is present you can also reduce the severity of future storms.

I'm thinking about that really strong deep bond with other people. I personally believe it is only attainable after storming.

Some groups are loose enough (like mtg at the shop) they're always in a forming phase. Which is not strongly connected.

And storming fractures off people sometimes.
