They’d probably have a style similar to early-mid medieval one handed swords, as the weight distribution of a needle would make fencing moves difficult with them. they could, on the other hand, make great throwing weapons, with the hole in the back being used to add improvised fleching

Size is a great narrative tool to show power imbalance between characters, a nice way to recontextualize your surrounding through a new lens, and a way of showing trust extreme enough that you feel safe when they could crush you with one hand
But also:
this person is hot, more of person=more hot
