CONCLUSION 2:

Also there are lots of clichés and the humor felt forced on many occasions.
The War and Army part felt a LOT like propaganda. Didn't like that at all.
So yeah. Interesting world building, interesting idea but not so good implementation.
Romantasy with a big focus on the romance part.

CONCLUSION:

Well, it was nice to read, but that's it. The point why I even started reading this book (a servicepoint in hell) was quickly unimportant and soon it felt like a slice of life story of a chosen family in hell. Which can be nice but eeh not the reason why I picked up this book.

SMALL SPOILER:

Ok, Sharkies preparations for a reading session was actually cute.

So so so gut!

Sharkie slowly grows on me. She feels more like a character now and not just someone to pull on your heartstrings. I wish she had more of it from the start when she was introduced.

So now she adopts like the first child she communicates with lol (exaggerated). I know it's supposed to be cute and pull on your heartstrings but it just annoys me :D Let's see, how this will go on.

Tbh I don't really like this trope (is it a trope? I don't know) where a child is introduced and like the new center of the story.
I know, blabla, that's what Lily always wanted, to be a mother and have a family but oh nooo, she can't have children in the afterlife -

I totally forgot about this movie. But I still remember how much I enjoyed it when I was a little one.
Thank you for the reminder!

Some real social criticism in there. It captures the state of mind of a specific bubble really good.
