These people don't understand that the thing they're trying to sell isn't what people want and they don't understand why because they don't even understand what the point of art is.

It feels like the AI proponents don't view art as a form of human expression but rather as a commodity with value only in being traded.

It's not something they would do as a job because they enjoy it.

It's something they would do because they imagine they'll get rich doing it.
