A community group this morning was asking people to buy them the Viofo A119 MINI 2 Dash Cam, for observers. It is an "Amazon's Choice." I have no clue if it's good for the current purpose, but I'm probably getting one b/c it's good enough for me.

I almost knocked Lady GaGa down when she popped out a door and onto a sidewalk where i was walking, spinning with her arms out and looking into the sky while she was deep into the music on her ear pods. Her bald body guy was out the door a few steps later.

'96 grad here -- congratulations! Judith Younger used to wear broomball shoes to school after walking her dog(s), I believe. Reach out if you have practical Qs. My eldest has an apt at 270 Hennepin b/t DT and the North Loop. Lots of activity and amenities; highly recommended.

Oh hey, I was thinking 25 yrs. You can put "old" plates on old cars if the plate/sticker date matches the car's model year. So you can use your stamped plates now on an 05 car (or scrape a few years off with a razer blade).

In 2029, you can get a 2004 car and put your plate on that, I believe (as long as MEATMAT is not on a current car).

I spent the last 3 minutes trying to come up with one. You're right.

I had to get over the psychology that I'd be "old" if I walked for exercise. So I started doing it in addition to other exercise, rather than an alternative, and that's caused me to see all the benefits from this story firsthand.

Not to get too serious...but...if they did get a patent, that could hurt them in this TM suit, b/c the functional features of the expired patent are now in the public domain. Ironically, the core precedent involved a similar-looking food, shredded wheat biscuits: michelsonip.com/news/shredde...

Oral care typically follows the GoFundMe model: 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction. Very reasonable when you think about it.

Same. The bulk of local sports reporters seem to still be there, and watching "hot takes" flow in during a big game is fun. But yeah, I post nothing there (and little here).

At my first lacrosse game, I asked another parent about a ref's call. He said, "I have no clue, and neither does any other parent. It keeps them quiet. It's great."

TIL that Labelle's was acquired by Best in 1982. (I made my electronics purchases at the Labelle's in Grand Forks, ND--until Fargo got a Best Buy.)

I was raised LCMS and wondered why my dad received all the church's mail, when we'd just give it to a lady named Lelia to process the bills and do the other work. Answer: women weren't allowed to hold office.
