I still can't imagine hating this movie. I had problems with it, for sure, but it was SO MUCH FUN!! The movie also looks really pretty and the fights are awesome (I don't usually care much about Mecha fights)

Yeah, totally! As much as I love a lot of the AUs, my favorite Gundam series are all Tomino (Zeta, 79, Turn A), even though he also made my least favorite (Reconguista)

Wow, I have no recollection of this happening to Cagalli. Like, I remember the way SEED treats women, but still. Tbh, maybe I just didn't see it, I was 20 when I watched SEED and could barely speak to women then. I doubt I was as alert to this type of thing back then, as I am now 🤔

I can't imagine having a bad time with SEED Freedom, it was some of the most fun I've had with Gundam. I've been listening to the soundtrack ever since
