I think I'm gonna have to say higurashi > umineko for overall story but character and themes wise umineko is on top. I cried so much

I feel a little empty at that part, its not shocking/devastating in a good way either 😭 but I really like what ryukishi did with ange at the end

Loved the story the whole way through but the ending with a certain character idk if I can get behind...its a hard pill to swallow
