How I know it?

1. I sometimes forget I'm testing a level for a specific reason because I just start solving the puzzle instead

2. I still feel smart solving the same puzzle more than once

Playtesters who've played both have said it feels pleasingly quite distinct! It starts similar but quickly explores a different design space. Spooky Express has deeper mechanics, more approachable puzzles, a helpful hint system, and more of a story (comic-style cutscenes before each area).

every trans person in the US has a line. it's different for everyone but it exists. it says, "across this line i need to flee the country." a set of conditions where existing here is harder or more dangerous than leaving.

the worst part is that most of us won't be able to when that line is crossed.
