I love that the player is always treated like Some Asshole the entire time, too -sure, you've killed Elvarg, restored Prifddinas, whatever- when you show up to some new place and start bothering people about whatever menial tasks they have, you're just Some Asshole who showed up two seconds ago

I get that it's a struggle. But also most other people just, think: "Just ask me and if I'm busy I'll tell you."
But I know the other person being mad at you isn't the whole story.
