Personally would go for biss and Tel over Dragusin and sarr. But is suspect you are spot on

I’m giving up criticising this manager - it isnt even a sport anymore
January 28, 2026 at 7:00 PM
Spot on Jack - the point on players in-game confidnece is very on point. If you look over last 18 months, nearly all our wins are to nil; if we concede any goal, we don’t usually win
January 25, 2026 at 10:34 PM
I know you don’t want another manager search Ali - but this appointment has been a disaster. No point in backing the wrong man
January 17, 2026 at 7:06 PM
Brentford is such a well run club it makes bad managers look good
January 17, 2026 at 4:00 PM
Great read Ali - you’ve tapped into my melancholy
August 21, 2025 at 7:54 PM
Fully agree on Archie - thought he looked very assured.

Colours nailed to the mast Ali - enjoy your break
June 6, 2025 at 9:04 AM
Can’t we just have a couple of weeks off without intense spurs analysis? Let’s just see what happens - we’ll all be there come August regardless.
June 3, 2025 at 10:05 PM
Agreed - and I wouldn’t swap Wednesday night for anything. But while that was an amazing moment, I have hated most of this season. Ange needs some ideas to make sure it is better next year
May 26, 2025 at 4:13 PM
Tough decision for Spurs. The euphoria of the EL win has to be balanced against a diabolical league campaign - both in terms of results and performances. I can see both sides of the argument
May 26, 2025 at 9:47 AM
Full respect to you Dan. Always think your work is very balanced and the pod is a weekly must listen for me - and will continue to be so.
May 21, 2025 at 1:04 PM
Have they got the manager job up on LinkedIn yet?
May 17, 2025 at 7:46 PM
Probably the right call. But sad that the players are in such a poor physical state that none of them can manage 2 games in a week.
May 16, 2025 at 5:54 PM
Off loading Lo Celso last season without replacing him has seriously cost us. Did well despite limited opportunities. Yet another huge error
May 14, 2025 at 5:54 PM
A lot of these players cost a lot of money - regardless of Thursday night, today was just the standard spurs performance. And why we must still change manager in the summer. Regardless of the results, the standards have been allowed to drop too low
May 11, 2025 at 6:10 PM
Totally agree with this Nathan. In the circumstances - at home - it makes sense
May 1, 2025 at 6:20 PM
Great read Dan
April 28, 2025 at 9:55 PM
Even with the rotation, you can be disciplined and hard to beat. Spurs have played with zero discipline since ange took over - this team is worse than the 93/94 team
April 27, 2025 at 5:04 PM
Maybe we should just skip the award this year - there is nothing to be positive about
April 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM
Always a good listen - but comparisons with Ten Hag way off. Man Utd got 60 points that season and finished 8th - we will do well to get 40
April 22, 2025 at 6:13 PM
Unfortunately paying the price for sticking with a manager who sadly just isn’t up to this level. Spurs will always need a manager to overperform - but this has been worst performance in 20 years. Nearly over thankfully …
April 13, 2025 at 2:06 PM
Maybe we should change our name to “Tottenham Hotspur Nil”?
April 3, 2025 at 9:09 PM
Great listen as always - hope you’re feeling ok Nathan. Although I’m very jealous that your worst season was Jose’s second (where we got to a cup final). 93/94 (Ossie) and 97/98 (Gross) - stayed up with wins in the penultimate game. It was truly grim!

Thanks for the context Alasdair. At least we have a bit of a break now from the joys of “Angeball”. Hope you enjoy your few days off from this mess.
