We received tomatoes. The best one, factually, behind oranges, lemons, and mangoes. Patterns of sliced tomatoes decorated the walls, tomato beanbags and tomato-shaped TVs in the public resting room…ha, surely I didn’t need to go over it all. And, indeed, a different subspecies of tomato to mark off each door. The lack of a number did make it difficult to discern which belonged to who.

Next time you start spouting your dull-brained nicknames, you’re getting a beating.” “Did you not say that the last time?” “Kill yourself.”
