Some days you go to file a business name and learn your state has a LAW which says you need to run a local newspaper ad for your business first.

Other days you go to file a local business application and learn you don't need to bc you're just south of the city limits, and the county doesn't care.

The cat wanted to nap in my lap while I was drawing today. We had to compromise.

Got tired of the cats climbing on my desk and snuggling up to my laptop vents to overheat it so I made a set of shelves to go behind and block off access entirely. I may have gotten carried away w the design. Do the clouds and rain remind anyone else of low poly video game assets?

Feeling pretty strung out rn over everything in the news, but at least I finally got these bookends done. Painting all those individual books in a way that didn't make it waaay too expensive involved some creative problem solving, but I'm pretty happy w the end result.
