A6. I am curious and interested how I can use more AI in my modules. I know it is a buzz word but at the same time I will balance it with my human quality so that I am not obsolete! That's an artistry I hope to master one day! Not just next year - I might need time sorry! #LTHEChat

A5. Based on my experience, the more human you are with students the more engaged or at least the more attention you can get from them. I hope that's politically correct! 😉So if others could see our genuine reason, why there is a question on what we do?... If I answer this correctly? #LTHEChat

A4. I believe we should not model our sector too much like a research institute, defining who are experts who are not, excluding others who want to master/develop their own artistry or try something else! To me everyone can be an educator and learner at the same time. #LTHEChat

A2. When I was new I was afraid to make mistakes and feared being criticised because I didn't think I was good enough. I think new colleagues should be given the confidence, (free) chance to try! They must think "it is OK to make mistakes and they have something to offer too" #LTHEChat

A3. Being offered with opportunity to work with them gives me chance to develop myself. I was initially trained as engineer and worked as one but my role as an educator is developed through working with peers, learning from mistakes and from literature. That free opportunity is essential. #LTHEChat

Very good idea. I just looked at my teaching timetable for 2025/2026 and realised I have an extra lab session. I might turn it to a workshop of learning skills using your suggestion! And maybe I can share it in #creativeHE too? Thanks

Sorry mistake made. I meant *eg, why placing components in certain way...

While I am into AI created images mainly as learning aid, I encourage my students, eg, to draw (using software) the electronic circuit diagrams themselves and then reflect on them. They may then learn something from that process, eg placing components in this easy. Am from electronic engineering

A6 any platforms are ok but make sure they allow free access or use of images so that they don't just simply take images without proper acknowledging. Though limited, they can learn to use right keywords. Microsoft like Word can be good place to start as you can find free images #LTHEChat.

I meant enhancing not engaging...

A5 I learnt a lot in crafting prompts through generating AI image which started as a hobby. I do photography too so I understand that subject creating and narration are important. I'd like them to follow my footsteps in engaging their prompting skill if photography is their interest #LTHEChat
