I usually do 3 to 4 weeks in the field per year (2 to 3 trips).
Small boats only (i prefer being back on shore each night with a cold beer and a real bed)

Sunburn/skin cancer roulette
Dirty
Vomit inducing
Exhausting
Frustrating (eg boat or equipment breaks)
Sometimes being behind a computer with a hot coffee is the perfect way to science

You generally cannot post final ("value added") versions online but can share final versions on request.
However you can post unformatted versions.
