Even if you interpret "the one person who said I directly abused him" the other way - the Guardian has spoken to seven people who say they recall the targeted abuse of Peter Ettedgui.

That was precisely what his teachers feared would happen. He was 18 when he did this. It was 43 years ago, not 50. He was in a position of power among his peer group and this is what he chose to do with that power. He is, I would suggest, trying to take attention away from this.
