It also seems likely that Memorial University depends on this service to share books and other between its far-flung campuses and to access academic material from across Canada. Write your MP!

I've a lot of respect for @humantransit.bsky.social but living in a city with profound "bus stigma" I think this is wrong. Sadly, people who don't see transit as something they or their friends use won't support adequate funding. They need visible, significant improvement to start mainstreaming it.

Have been a EV user since 2020 and before I bought a heat pump my home was heated by burning 5000L/1300 gallons of dirty furnace oil a year (!) I was not even keeping the place warm (it's a big, old house). Needless to say I am very happy to have switched both!
