No, but I lived in Michigan at the time. Feel free to point out anything wrong with what I said.

At least the boating complaint was somewhat valid, considering the governor's husband was caught trying to go boating too, you've got a pretty good social distance between you and other boaters, most boats are small enough to limit how many people are in close proximity, and it's outside.

It depends on what your use case is. If you're trying to set up a second monitor for your desktop, it'd be terrible. If you're trying to show the same screen to people on different sides of a room (think advertisement or broadcasting an event) it's fantastic.

Not just safety nets. Right leaning policies in general seek to restrict individuals and free businesses, while left leaning do the opposite. Everything from marriage equally, drug possession, what bathroom you use, how people serve time for crimes, it all follows the same pattern.

I get it to an extent. Social safety nets require government organizations + laws. Anti-discrimination policies need laws + enforcement. Environmental protection requires laws restricting businesses.
But to me, it's more accurate to say the left prefers laws that empower people, the right businesses

I'm a fan of the 2 term limit, and Obama did his two terms. I don't subscribe to the notion that in a country of 340M people there's only 1 person per party who's qualified to be a good president.

My bad, I haven't been browsing as much TikTok as I used to. I do enjoy seeing you repost them here though.

It kinda depends on who you're planning to have see it. If it's a public archive that'll act as a resume, you'll want some decent looking transitions and navigation. If it's only for you then you can do whatever with the HTML and JavaScript. Thumbnail are a necessity, ffmpeg can do that quickly.

🤣 It wasn't about the amount of taxes, it was representation in government after paying those taxes!
Donald is doing everything he can to make the USA a 3rd world country, and that includes removing income tax. We found out that wouldn't work in the 20th century, it works worse in the 21st.

🥱 Guess our Founding Fathers were part of the "radical left" then.

I remember feeling like that when other people tried to push me into going too hard at the gym. Ease into it, go at your own pace. It's better to do too little in a gym visit today and still be going regularly in three months than to quit because you went beyond what your body was ready for.

Worth pointing out that news circulated about a similar request made for Panama back in March. To my knowledge nothing happened with those plans.

Without the cheek fur she reminds me of Captain Amelia from Treasure Planet.

😑 You're on a thread about how ICE has gotten completely out of control, and you still ask how this President is worse...
January 7, 2026 at 9:27 PM
So when the Democrat candidate says they'll roll ICE back to how it was before Donald, and the Republican candidate says they'll give ICE more funding/support/immunity, you'll be ok with not having a hand in which of those is better?
That's not a purity test, that's a "not my problem" test.

Wrong button.

Maybe, but I was under the impression the Libertarians used that to show how out of touch he was with them. Those same screenshots for show Green party getting 470k more votes and RFK JR getting 750k votes. Could be they migrated to other 3rd parties instead.
January 7, 2026 at 2:09 PM
Thank you for that link. 10% of Dems denouncing it vs a single Republican (Mrs "Jewish Space Lasers" herself 😮‍💨). Both are too low, but one side clearly had more momentum on the subject than the other.

Writing in "Harambee 2024!" or any of his equally likely to win 3rd party peers isn't a demonstration of greater principles, it's an expression of indifference. You didn't care what happened to anyone else as a result of the election, you cared only about how your own ego would handle it.

They have made movement towards that. Look up the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. The basic idea is to go around the Electoral College by having enough states pledge their EC votes to whoever wins the popular vote nationwide. They're at 209/270 needed with 34 pending.

It IS filled with your consent though. You consent to this form of government, same as anyone else. We all have the option to use our ethics and morals to vote for the best of two presidential options, or we consent to removing our own moral judgement from the decision and let others pick for us.

You can point out where my numbers are wrong any time you'd like. I'll be waiting.
January 7, 2026 at 4:23 AM
Do you see me saying any party is perfect or incorruptible? No, you don't, so take that strawman to Oz with you. I've been pointing out the steps 3rd parties need to take to become viable presidential options.

Banning fracking? Was New York some sort of oil powerhouse in 2014 or something? That just seems like an odd example to pick, with little to lose and a lot of anti-global warming good will to gain.
