I enjoyed that game so much as a kid/teenager that I actually gave my dad some cash so he would send a check off to the developer in exchange for receiving part 2 in the mail on a floppy disk some weeks later.
Curiously, I think Castle of the Winds is the only roguelike game I have ever enjoyed.
