I love it when I look at a drawing and realise who the artist is, cus the moment I do, I no longer think about anyone's gender — in this case "Rudolph's" — I just simply know it without having to say or ponder about anything.

Oh shoot, sorry. What I meant is: Would that kind of writing be considered 'bad' if it is obviously shown to be not a direct/obtuse way of disregarding Catra's suffering and instead be a narrative choice to try to reflect the overall confusion of the situation?...

Even after years this show continues to surprise me. Also, on a related note, do you find this particular thing to be a problem even if it is rather transparent that that kind of thinking occurs in someone's mind, and not from a narrative pov?

In all honesty there are so many tiny little nuances in the show that I find fascinating but never really think too deeply about, mainly cus I'm not really exposed to look for it.

Do you think you could provide some sort of example for that? Like, I'm guilty of not really paying attention to how things could be perceived, and since Adora is one of my fav characters of all time, I was/am/will be most probably guilty of that.

I had this 'urge' and need to write for the sake of doing it. In short, just let it ebb and flow, then before you know it, you're back in your rhythm, that's what helped me with my creative endeavors anyways. c:

Oh, and just so you know, I'm in the middle of writing a oneshot fic, and the Ashna piece in particular inspired me so damn much I threw in some angst as well when I was listening to music, so that's entirely your fault
