That was the longest standing ovation I've ever seen at #TIFF! And so well-deserved! #Palestine36 is an epic historical drama that just made its premier at #TIFF.

Congrats to Annemarie Jacir and the cast and crew! Extraordinary film. It should be mandatory viewing for everyone.

Saw Harlan County USA last night at the TIFF Lightbox and I’m still thinking about it. One of the best films about organized labour I’ve ever seen.

Treaties are with the Crown and predate the province of Alberta. FN leaders say they "would go to war."

I would love to see the NDP and Elizabeth May push for a coalition just to do this. PR would have such a far-reaching positive impact on the lives of most Canadians.

Just saw the film that Amazon does not want the public to see. UNION is the inspiring story of the incredible work by Chris Smalls and the workers of the ALU.

It has no major distributor despite being shortlisted for the Oscars. Hopefully it gets put on YouTube and made available for all to see.

If I was a CBC News climate reporter I’d sure be frustrated that Canada’s public broadcaster takes money from a company directly contradicting my journalism with disinformation.

Should CBC be accepting money from oil sands companies—the same companies that have spent decades lying about the crisis?
