another theory I have is maybe Caine was jealous of all three of them being such good friends and not paying attention enough to him - he did some shit to make Jax trust them less and break up the dynamic (got into their heads) Ribbit abstracted and then Kaufmo later trying to investigate Caine

its possible - he told Pomni how shitty people really are when he was crashing out in ep 6 when she was trying to figure him out. I took it as him talking about how betrayed he felt by both of them, or maybe it was a reflected reaction to your theory and hes just disappointed in himself

maybe jax being an asshole is copying behavior from him lookin up to ribbit

when he partially abstracts and sees ribbit's hands coming at him maybe its because he misses the friends he thought both of them were and not the people they ended up being, so he was really trying to die right there

the closest id ever wanna see Zelda get to RPG is bringing back the EXP/leveling system from Zelda 2 back

as long as i get green Link back and dungeons are more compelling focused on combat, have unique scary monsters, and treasure hunting, and they kill durability for good, sure w/e.
