I've been taking a Life Drawing class at Maine College of Art and Design. This is a quickie with water soluble graphite on mixed media paper. It's great practice. I'm just starting to use this water soluble graphite and am loving the effects I can get. But, I have lots more to learn.

Plein air oil painting I finished in my studio. Blue Hill, Maine Blueberry Barrens Salt Pond. Painted in Late August 2034. 12" x 24" without the frame. That location is stunning isn't it?

From our great vantage point we see Pumpkin Island Lighthouse....and beyond the morning mist, the Camden Hills 22 miles across East Penobscot Bay.
