Today we started the setup for the absolutely awesome Holiday House in Langley put on by Readiness to Learn. The kids did fantastic decorating, and look at all the amazing toys waiting to be picked up by Santa’s helpers!

I hope everyone who celebrates had an absolutely fantastic Thanksgiving and that everyone else had a fabulous Thursday!

Today I finished the last of the casseroles and pies, and my mom made scrumptious fruit salads. And here’s this year’s Thanksgiving tree!

I said today was cranberry sauce day, and I meant it! Actually, I only finished four (Monday is grocery rescue day with the Good Cheer food bank), but I'll do the last two tomorrow. Today I did triple cranberry, strawberry, sour cherry, and lemon. And I drank a lot of delicious cranberry juice!

Tomorrow I’ll start cooking for Thanksgiving (so much cranberry sauce!), but today I made scrumptious Meyer lemon marmalade 🍋

Tomorrow is my Newfoundland pup Sherlock's first birthday ❤️

This morning I was cooking mashed potatoes that I'm going to use to make his birthday "cake," and this was him trying to make the mashed potatoes jump off the counter and into his mouth!

I’ll post these boys illustration that I finished last month, but first I wanted to introduce the two most unbearably adorable Guinea pigs—Smudge and Spooky!

I adopted these boys in August when Rog passed away. They’re estimated at 1-1/2 years and have obviously spent that entire time together ❤️

Meet adorable little King Ghidorah! He's an Egyptian Uromastyx, and although he might look big with the zoom, he's less than a year old.

Currently he's *way* smaller than my older Moroccan Uromastyx, Rodan, but not for long because the Egyptian Uromastyx is the largest species of Uromastyx.

Pumpkin animal waffles! I made a ton of these this morning to freeze (I forgot to take a pic of the tiger!) for Saturday morning waffles. They freeze awesomely and just pop in the toaster when you’re ready to eat. Homemade waffles with real ingredients that taste way better than store bought!

I don't know how it took me so long to discover the insane adorableness of potoo birds! This amazing nocturnal species camouflages itself as a tree during the day.

I'm so doing an illustration (Probably two because they look unreal at night!) of this bird.
