I just got this and played through it today. It was a bit janky on the steam deck, but that might have been intentional. It was an immersive and emotional gameplay, and it hit close to home for me ❤️🩹

Yeah I got desperate one day haha, there's a glitch with getting the MARIO letters out of frame that lets you cheat the jump rope challenge. But great job doing it the legit way!!

This game blew my mind as a kid playing it on the SNES. It has a lot of memorable emotional moments, but I agree the later story is weaker. Also, it's one of the few RPGs that rewards the tendency to hoard early game armor instead of selling it (Lodestone Cave haha).

So what I'm hearing is that if I want people to rely on me less as a subject matter expert at work, I need to send them a reference where they can find the answer themselves, instead of the answer + reference? Because goodness I feel like I repeat answers a lot
