Bright blue dot in a backward Red state. Old, gray, a bit artsy, feminist and not ashamed of the word, LGBQT ally, progressive, atheist, progressive...did I mention progressive? The Tangerine Tsar is NOT my president, nor is the Nasty Nazi. No DMs.

I have scraps from a heavily vandalized old church. There's nothing quite like that old glass. This is made from some of that glass-only the light purple is new.

My latest finish, a commissioned piece, my own pattern.
"Jill's Sunflower", or "Slava Ukraini!".

My newest finished spinner. It's beautiful in action, but I can't figure out how to post videos here.

And it's finished (except for putty and polishing). A friend named it "Five Kites in March", although February might be more appropriate. My own design, based on the 'New York Beauty' traditional quilt pattern.

In progress.

Not really sure about the green, but it might fit in better once the other colors are in the light. All but the red are reclaimed broken church window glass.

My art is stained glass, my own pattern. Pickle Dish.

My own design, and finished this morning. I wasn't sure it would hold together, but it's amazingly sturdy, and spins like a top. (The spinner fitting got cut off in this shot.) I think I'll call the pattern "Six-Ring Circus", as it gives me circus vibes.

Making stained glass and listening to audiobooks. My latest spinner (spins when a breeze catches it), and my latest book is "This Is Your Brain On Music". I need to start exercising again, too, walking as soon as the weather warms some.

Just finished, and just in time for Valentine's Day. This one spins like a top.

If it was a quilt block, it would be Fat Wedding Ring, or Pickle Dish (one of several varieties). I was a quilter before I learned stained glass.

I don't think I've posted this yet, but could be mistaken. This is my second glass spinner, and the first made on the jig that my husband made for me.

My second finished spinner, and the first using the jig my husband made for me. The green glass is irridescent.

My first spinner, and my final project for 2024, the year I got back to stained glass. Now to start my first project of the new year.
