My dad ostensibly wanted to give me a name that reflected my birthday. Christine Eve. My mother reportedly objected due to it being a terrible name for a Jewish girl.
My parents told this story for decades but it wasn’t true. But like them, I love the joke.

Mine is Christmas Eve and I grew up getting two sets of presents from my parents at least into my thirties.

I know how you feel. On thanksgiving I told someone I would be 63 in December. His reaction was disbelief and a request to see my ID.

I hope she likes clams! This would not work for me. But my bf doesn’t eat any seafood at all so I’m safe from his cooking. He wants to make me lasagna from scratch but I don’t really like cheese either so I tell him to make it for himself. I will make shrimp scampi with penne for myself.
