most of all i wish we weren't beholden to social media. it's such an awful platform for artists, the algo favors only the most polished and marketable of pieces and there's no real "community" like there was on deviantart full of people actively engaged with art. art is consumed so casually now 😭

my friends and followers say they'll love my art no matter what style i go for but for some reason it doesn't register in my brain, i'm always still like "i have to draw like this! because it's marketable and what my clients are used to and expect!!!" aaghggngfhdjhfjd

i don't even really know how my art has become the way it has...? because i don't even like the "basic" anime style that much, all of my inspo is nothing like what i've been making for the past few years 😭

that's so true!!! she was one of my fav additions to the cast in wahh, komachi is always a fun character i love her personality contrasting with her job yet she has an unexpected streak of wisdom too despite her lax demeanor. she's a ball of contradictions

i'm not a big fan of lost word but basically entirely on account of the character design philosophy and just being a gacha hater on principle, i've heard the narrative is actually alright so i def can't judge in that department! don't let the haters ruin ur fun
