Me with Jerry Stiller 2015 at the Viand Cafe Upper West Side of NY. Jerry was nice enough to chat with us after I thanked him for contributing to the Jazz Bakery in LA in the name of Bill Evans. He explained that he and Ann Meara used to open for Evans and knew him well.

Concordance of a variety of measurements confines the values of the density of matter and dark energy to 0.3 and 0.7 respectively.

This is the figure I use to show that the Friedmann equation using measured values for the density of dark energy and total matter matches with measured rates of expansion of the universe. The dark green line results from a dark energy density of 0.7 and a total matter density of 0.3.
