Admittedly though I have been a parliamentarian for over 40 years….If anyone asked me just a few years ago if parliamentarians would be the front-line heroes holding the line against tyranny and chaos? I would not have thought so. Now? Here we are!😎

Post-election Comfort Baking Project # 2! Cider Doughnut Bread Pudding!

What’s not to like about a recipe that calls for a dozen 2 day old cider doughnuts, heavy cream, cider, maple syrup, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, & Bourbon Vanilla extract?Add in vanilla ice cream over the finished product? Bliss!😋

With the chilly weather & to lift the spirits a bit after the past week , I decided to do some comfort baking from the book of Project 1 is my Grandmother’s scratch biscuits!
The recipe & results are pictured below. The finished product is perfect with tea and served with butter and Sour Cherry Jam!

Happy to join what appears to be a far more productive and intellect-friendly environment than the smoking pit that Twitter has become!
