Rock and/or roll news:
[KISS guitarist/vocalist] Paul Stanley invited [then-DOKKEN bassist] Jeff Pilson and I up to his hotel room to write songs after one of the shows. We were very excited, knocked on his door, pushing our recording rack on wheels that we toured with. He let us in wrapped in a towel and soaking wet. He suggested we put on towels too and jump up and down on the beds to get our creative juices flowing, which we did, but then we never wrote any songs. That was weird."

Swap 2 songs, ruin an album
The track listing for the cassette version of the Beatles album ABBEY ROAD. "Here Comes the Sun" starts side 1 and "Come Together" starts side 2, which they likely did to avoid too much silence at the end of side 1. But it ruins the flow of the album, which is especially bad since this album is known (musically) for its flow. I added (musically) because this album is best known for its cover. It's right up there with UNKNOWN PLEASURES.

I haven't put this one on in a long time but this is what comes to mind when I think "triple LP"
The album "A Lot Of People Would Like To See Armand Schaubroeck... DEAD" by the band Armand Schaubroeck Steals. Not just a triple album, it's also in Quad. I bought it 30+ years ago after hearing about it from the music director at my college's radio station. It's not one I play very often.

Forbes alert
A phone alert for an article in Forbes about the band Black Sabbath. I clicked through, and it's an article about how their 2nd album, PARANOID, is on the Billboard charts and selling well despite being 55 years old, partially thanks to yet another reissue. In other words, it's a business story. It feels wrong to purchase this album new though. The best way to hear it is from a beat-up used LP or a tape of that LP somebody's loser brother made for you. The rejection is baked-in.
