Played and enjoyed. Ended up with a 1-4 record, not bad for a novice. Is #madden26 any good? Yes and no. It's got a good difficulty curve and gameplay is pretty good. the UI continues to be clunky. Too many screens in franchise mode (played off camera). So on field 7/10, off field 4/10.

That's a massive gap between those newly promoted and those who are battling for top of prem. It's gonna be a long season.

Next up, I tried Birdigo by @toboggan.work and @johnaugust.bsky.social Terrific cross between Wordle and Balatro. Some runs will go well and some - if you dont adjust will suffer. Love the idea of the migrating birds been the levels and good powerup design.

Day two, I started with #poolofmadness by @bitgolem.bsky.social - A terrific demo mashing pool with lovecraft. Imagine playing pool but then fish get thrown on the table (how about the gun as your secondary "cue"). Very random very fun - one to wishlist for sure.

Next up, I tried #superlocoworld - Terrific idea and good concept. It scratched that OpenTTD itch. It took me a while to figure on the signals, but once you do - you will be flying.
