So it's mainly for "significant distress" from physical changes(!) from an unwanted puberty, like gender dysphoria in teens.

Personally, I think the indications are very similar. From the NHS website:

"Treatment with medication is usually only recommended if it's thought early puberty will cause emotional or physical problems, such as short height in adulthood or early periods in girls, which cause significant distress"
