I think that’s an inevitability if they miss the playoffs. The training and recovery staff should’ve been axed years ago. That alone probably helps this team and coaching staff survive a couple more years and maybe one deep run. As it is now it’s hard to see how it manages to stay static.

Exactly. It’s not college where you’re trying to save a recruiting class or boosters. NFL teams can completely revamp in the offseason. No sense pulling the plug at this moment with no clear upgrade to take over.

Both are fair points. If it still teeters this way at the 50-66% mark by all means I can understand the calls. I don’t know who you would get if they do decide to make a change though that you can instantly go “this is a big upgrade to the staff” unless it’s the damned medic / recovery team.

It kills me every year how this fanbase is all “no Super Bowl? Get rid of Lamar and Harbaugh!” 1-3 start with no “bad” losses imo is no reason to panic. The team is still top 6 and has a much more manageable schedule from here on out.
