More from the Raider gunship conversion.

I added the large keel to do away with any flight stand and then the basing invoved it digging into the ground to show an aggressive nature.

I ran wires to the additional tech' and weapons to show that they are "additions" […]

The Maltese Falcon.

Sculpted in clay with some epoxy putty details and fixes.

As close as I could get to the original, plus I included a secret space in the base.

At least the painting was easy for a 1:1 scale model: Gloss black all over.

More angles of this Predator tank.

The turret was raised slightly (to accomodate something inside), and even with the added armour retains it's range of motion.

The tanks hatches all got custom hinges to allow them to be opened and closed.

The roses are sculpted in epoxy putty, and the "gems" are carved plastic.

Hand-painted, making use of my model painting experience.

More angles of Ol' One Toof.

I altered his axe, adding an Eldar piece, and gave him a powerklaw to make him all melee.

With the re-posing to be charging into battle, the painting naturally invovled a lot a blood.

@erikcats Thanks Erik. One of the more difficult paint jobs, especially for earrings.

Only name I've ever known them as.
Wikipedia tells me "Aglais io" is the scientific name.

@14mission Thanks.
yes, I suppose you do get that raised-grain texture to old wood. I can't be sure if that's what they were going with on the kit.
I did paint it as old wood, to match the broken fence. Who knows if the fence was even part of the same kit.

Yeah, it does look like it was a […]

Hut repaint.

This N-gauge hut was originally built by my Grandfather.

As it came to me still attached to the piece of ground it was built on, it needed little in the form of repairs, but received a full new paintjob.

It was interesting to find that, at this […]

Closer views of 2 of the Rescue Terminators.

One has a black theme going on his weapons. I added the hanging scroll cases.
And for his base I included a Genestealer's hand sliding a floorplate over. Will he notice in time?

Dark Eldar Wych.

The theme was based on Sin City, where you have all monotone with one spot colour.

I reposed this wych, gave her a second blade and then decided on fiery hair as the spot colour.

In painting, I chose a grey base with bright colour accents, and followed the angular nature of the build.

For the shop name board, I envisioned a large screen and attempted painting some digital glitchiness.

I painted this (and made the easel) for a Father's Day years ago.

As usual for me, it's tiny; Dollshouse-scale.

I referenced a photo I found online, labelled only as a traditional ancient chinese building.

'nids playing 40k.

Often my most popular build wherever I post it. This was just a silly "in-between projects" pallet cleanser.

Woubble.

Gave the final cube […]
