This is an active situation, and I echo Mayor Smiley in urging Rhode Islanders to heed only official updates from Brown University and the Providence Police. We will get through this as a community.

The Constitution’s separation of church and state should frankly keep the government from paying for religious charities, schools, libraries, etc. Catholicism has enough money to fund its wonderfully charitable activities. Taxpayers should not have the obligation…🕊️🌷
