After a night of drinking, I hauled me and my friend home 10 miles home via rail trail on a hard tail mountain bike. There were many beer stops on the way home. Oh to be 23 again.

I’ve committed myself to running at least two family friendly poker runs this year. Everyone on bikes, multiple stops, normalizes biking in a social setting for kids, and someone wins all the money at the end. We need to find ways to create the world we want.

Yeah, it’s one of those details that gets lost. But towns adopting a walkability bike ability stance will have to up their snow removal game. I would like to see a Not Just Bikes video on a model city when it comes to snow removal for pedestrians.

I am horrified what’s about to happen. People won’t make an auto loan payment or mortgage payment in order to buy food. With the margins so thin, it may take years to get out of that hole.
