Whether returning to the prior conditions is desirable or not probably doesn't matter tho? Trump is the most successful and influential Republican anyone ender 50 really remembers. Imitate and emulate will be dominant on that side long after he's gone.

Honestly this is all still too sympathetic to the Russians. They only fought the nazis cuz they had no choice. The US did it cuz we wanted to. We had plenty options that didnt need 250k dead Americans in europe.

Becuz we all know where this goes from here. We the people elected an insurrectionist. He surrounded himself exclusively with people that will support another one. And if not in '26 then it will be too late for them to try. So, in'26 they will try.
